Goal: Rapid Task Creation with no-code

At Franka Robotics, our mission was to develop a user-friendly, browser-based interface that empowered users to quickly and easily create complex robotic tasks without requiring coding expertise. The key objectives were:

  1. Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Interface: Enable users to seamlessly program tasks by simply drag and drop pre-built apps into a sequence.

  2. Simplified Configuration: Provide a user-friendly way to configure apps and teach robot poses.

  3. Rapid Task Execution: Allow users to execute tasks immediately after creation.

My Role

UI|UX methodology and process in this project:

  • Prototyping and Wireframing: Creating visual representations of the interface to facilitate early feedback and iteration.

  • Support Visual Design: Ensuring a visually appealing and consistent design that aligns with the brand.

  • Responsive Design: Adapting the interface to various screen sizes and devices.

  • Accessibility Evaluation: Ensuring the platform is usable by people with disabilities.

  • Iterative Design Process: Continuously refining the design based on user feedback and testing.
